Sunday was a good day in God’s house and with our church family. Not only were there people joining our church but also at our baptismal service where there were 12 that were baptized including brother and sister and a family mom, dad, and child being baptized together. It is truly heart-warming to see God move in the lives of people and knowing the love of Christ that is in each one.
Last Wednesday there were 96 children attending our Wednesday After School, we have over 100 enrolled. But these numbers mean little if we just wait for them to keep coming week after week. God has once again handed us a great opportunity to reach our community. When you see the names of these families to visit, please don’t hesitate. Jump in and meet them, love them, encourage them. Our world needs Christ, now is the time for EBC to reach out.
For those of us who were willing and able to take some names and adopt the families this semester keep up the good work. Let them see the light of Christ in our lives that they too may know Him! Thank you for your willingness to share.
