Notes From Mark

What a beautiful day it was yesterday at Emmanuel! There was truly the sense of the Holy Spirit as we worshiped our Holy God. I am thankful for those times when God plainly shows Himself to us in times of worship. If you were unable to be with us, regardless of the reason, you missed out. I pray you will be with us this Sunday as we gather together to worship our Savior and Lord.

I am looking forward to our service at P-Bar Farms on October 30. You might wonder why we are meeting there? One of the reasons is to remember. Three years ago during our building project, we were uprooted from our current sanctuary for 2 weeks to have asbestos removed. P-Bar Farms was one of the locations we went to as well as the BCM building at SWOSU. God provided for us to meet and worship Him. Throughout His Word we are told to remember. Remember His provision in our life, remember His protection, Remember His Word. SO on that day we will remember, and we will celebrate! Celebrate what He has done and celebrate what God has blessed us with. It is amazing the kindness and goodness He has shown to Emmanuel.

It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night, to the music of the flute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre. For you, O LORD, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy. Psalm 92:1-4
