Situations

Have you ever thought you had the right answer? Have you been convinced that your way was not just the best way, but also the only way to get things done? Maybe you have come upon a situation that has you torn apart and you can’t make sense of it. Life is full of situations like this and if we are free to admit it we have had these thoughts, feelings and sensations before. Our question is
even in times such as these do we acknowledge God? Do we see that He is the One with authority and control? When we get to the moment in our life when we say, “I don’t have to be right”, or “Let’s look a things your way”, or even “God I don’t understand and I can barely go on, yet I trust you.” It is at this moment when our faith grows a notch. When we rely on something outside ourselves and as believers when we rely on the One who created all. Hopefully our faith grows daily for that means our walk with God is fresh and vibrant. We cannot understand all or even much of God’s plan but we can exercise and grow our faith by trusting that His way is right and true. Paul said it this way:

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
“For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?”
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen Romans 11:33-36
