Adjusting to God’s Mission Focus

Adjusting to God’s Mission Focus

Have you ever played the game where you start with a blurry image and as your keep looking at it the image grows more and more in focus and you try to guess what it is before time runs out? Sometimes God reveals things in much of the same way. He gives us a basic but blurry image of what he wants us to do, we follow him in obedience. If we continue to follow him the
vision gets clearer and more focused. This has been a fun week as we finalized airfare on Monday for our First Mission Team to Riga, Latvia. We have 5 men leaving in November to work with our friend Karlis (Karlis, was here back in April). Bro. Mark and I got the opportunity today to video call Karlis to discuss our trip. Even as far back as April we knew God was putting this together, to send us around the globe but we are just now seeing God’s picture of mission and vision begin to come into focus. We follow Christ, growing closer to him revealing more and more of himself as we Preach the Word, Teach the Body and Reach the World for Christ.

Hebrews 12:2, “looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”
