Oklahoma Disaster Relief began sending volunteers today (8/30) to Houston to begin working. A crew of 45 volunteers that will be preparing meals for the victims. They will be making around 25,000 in just one day. This relief effort will most likely be going on for the next year in Houston. It will begin with meals, damage assessment and chaplains and then we will begin the Rebuild with Mud out, Tarp teams and chainsaw teams.
On Saturday, Sept 16th we will be taking a group to be trained in all of these areas of Disaster Relief. Please pray about going and being certified to work along side Oklahoma DR. We want to be a church that is GOING, and REACHING out to those in need.
