December 13th our children will be presenting the musical Candy Cane Lane. This is a moment you will want to be sure and attend. Following our musical, the Children’s Ministry Team will be hosting a Christmas Party in our gym. This party is for everyone and we hope you will be there to greet our guests. It promises to be a special time of fellowship. As each child leaves they will be given a stocking filled with goodies! This is a special gift to our children this year and I thank you to those who have made it possible! Even if you do not regularly attend on Wednesdays come to this program.
This week in our series The Call Of Christmas we will see the angelic visitation to Joseph. I pray that you will hear God call to you this season and your Christmas will be filled with joy overflowing.
Just a thought: Have you ever felt tired and old? I see things and places in my own life that once were vibrant and new now are tired and worn. I find myself wishing that I could make it all new once more, but I can’t. God can and will. Remember Psalm 23 “He restores my soul.” God, the One who created will restore the vigor and vitality, the hope and yes even the energy. Take time to rest in God during this hectic time and be restored.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
