In our last business meeting the Children’s Ministry team shared with our church about some needs and upcoming projects in our Children’s Area. We are sharing them here in the newsletter to help promote and get the word out about ways in which everyone can help.
First we are painting the entire Children’s area stairwell to stairwell during the month of July. There will be dates and times posted where you will be able to help paint each room, hallways and stairwells.
Secondly the Children’s Ministry Team and the rest of the church body would like to carpet and tile the basement. It has been over 25 years and frankly the rooms need to be refreshed and maintained. The cost for the carpet and tile is around $11,000. If you would like to give to this project over and above your tithe and building commitments please do. We are hoping to have the carpet in place before the new school year starts. Prayerfully consider how you might help in this endeavor.
