I would like to thank those men and women who helped with our Wednesday’s After School this past
year. I am so grateful for your help and support of the Children’s Ministry at EBC. Change is coming to
our programming I encourage you to look for the news during these next few months and if there is a
place where you can plug in and help please do so.
In our world today we are encouraged to be tolerant of others. It is seen as a sign of understanding and
maybe a little of sophistication. As always we look to our model – Christ to see how we act. In Christ we
see Him tolerant of His disciples when they doubted or misunderstood. He was always tolerant of the
crowds that came to hear His message. He wanted them to hear and understand. In the present Christ
is tolerant of each one of us when we fail and fall. He reaches out with open arms to receive us to Him.
As we live and share our faith remember there is an area where Christ is intolerant, where He says
there is only one correct path. There is only one path of salvation and eternal life and that is Jesus Christ.
In John 14:6 Jesus plainly says
“I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
This is where it makes it difficult for people to come to Christ. In our world of multiple
options and multiple rights and wrongs there is only one way to God.
