This past Sunday I had the honor of leading our church in worship during the Sunday morning worship service. It is something I have periodically had the opportunity to do when Bro. Mark is away, I’m always grateful and honored when he asks me to do it. I began thinking about things that I do here at Emmanuel and who I ask to fill in for me when I’m gone. Right now we are blessed to have an Interim Pastor in Bro. Brett Selby that is standing in the place of both our former pastor as well as our new pastor to be. We’ve watched as over the last few months members of Emmanuel have stepped up to take over jobs and duties. They have done a great job. at. We are a body that helps and cares for each other. We as the body of Christ continue to operate and function because it’s what Christ wants us to do.

1 Corinthians 12:12–13 “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.”
