This week, we have been putting a new coat of paint on our sanctuary. The existing paint is over 20 years old. The new paint will refresh the sanctuary. It will give the sanctuary a new look. It is the same sanctuary, but now it will have a fresh look. The past few months, the deacons and ministers have been looking at the culture and community around us. We have been looking at our church. We have been praying about Emmanuel’s future. We are serving as a committee and are close to drafting new vision and mission statements. We plan to bring these drafts before the church for suggestions and comments before implementing the final statements. Please pray for your deacons and ministers as we prepare these drafts. Please plan to attend the presentation of statements. Pray for wisdom as we seek God’s will. These new vision and mission statements will Re-Fresh our church as we move forward.
