Our lives are made up of chapters just like a book. Some of those chapters are difficult, some are exciting and some flow right into the next. Church life is much of the same with so many stories intertwining within a church and interacting with each other.

For the past 2 years my story with Emmanuel Baptist has been intertwined with Pastor David Lawrence. It has been the beginning of my story with Emmanuel and the end of his (Within the Pastor Roll). When I look back at our interaction it has not all been a smooth story but it has always been one that focused on Jesus. We have had our disagreements and a discussion but always with a mutual respect. All those are greatly outweighed and pale in comparisons to the countless victories and triumphs that we have been able to share together as Co-laborers in Christ.

As a 2nd chair minister you work with many leaders and I can say without hesitation that I will miss working with Pastor David daily, maybe now he will invite me to go play golf with him.
