Dear EBC Family,
We thought it would be important to let our Church family know where we are in the process of finding the next Shepherd to lead Emmanuel. In the last few weeks we have met and sat down with two families and expect to talk to two more families this week. During this process we sat down with a family two weeks ago and felt good about that family after talking to them and thought that this might be the next Shepherd to lead us. In the end God told both parties that this was not so. Our search committee continued to pray that God would continue to lead us to the next person and through that we have sat down with another family last night. We plan on talking with two more families in the next few days. In saying all of that, God has definitely been in control of this process; He has closed doors and also opened doors for us. We ask you the Church to continue to pray for us and in that prayer ask God that his will would be accomplished through this committee.
