Notes From Mark

Throughout God’s Word, He encourages us to walk in His way. Paul exhorts us to:

walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1

To walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; Colossians 1:10

We exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 2:12

When we walk with God in our personal lives, it will live itself out in all that we do from the smallest inconsequential detail to that important aspect of our life which everyone sees. Knowing that the One who created us has called us to walk with Him, fills me with joy and anticipation of what God wants to accomplish in my own life. So then church let’s do this together as family. Let us live our lives in such a way that others will ask us what makes us different, it has happened before and it can happen today. It starts with you and me boldly living for Christ. Boldly and lovingly caring for the poor and the needy. Giving ourselves over to the ministry of the Gospel, letting it completely change our way of thinking – striving for the mind of Christ.
