Today at the Super Summer Executive Staff Retreat one of the preachers for this summer was speaking and said something that I really needed to hear. As he struggles and even has failed in his walk with Christ he was telling someone that he was afraid that the sin in his life had disqualified him from ministering. The person he told this to laughed and told him that, “Yes, it does. Our sin absolutely disqualifies us from ministry and if we don’t understand that then we don’t understand grace.” I was taken back because so many times in my own life I have justified myself even in my sin because it wasn’t “that bad.” The truth though, is that we are not called to be good or even good enough, we are called to be Holy and perfect and when we miss that perfection, then we are disqualified…BUT GOD!

Isn’t God’s Grace just AMAZING?
