Hate
In today’s world, there seems to be a lot of hate. You can see it in the faces of those on both sides of an issue. Proverbs 10:12 says “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.” Letting love replace hatred is hard to do. But love allows us to rise above our hatred. We need to try to understand others. Our Library, Our History, Our Worship
Our library…in our recent property loss, was displaced because of the broken pipe and subsequent flooding. In the near future, we will restore the room that housed our library. Our library, in its former state was seldom used. Recently, the Library Committee and Staff, on two separate occasions, approached me about distributing the books to “where the people are.” They suggested moving books for youth to the youth wing…moving books for children downstairs to the children’s wing…moving discipleship and teaching…
When you stay in ministry, you must figure out how to deal with disagreements. You have to figure out if being right is worth the cost and fallout of the opposition being wrong or not winning. This Sunday is Palm Sunday. We remember Jesus’ dramatic entry into Jerusalem. His ministry had reached a fever pitch. In His teachings Jesus had confounded the leaders and angered them greatly.
