Re-Fresh
This week, we have been putting a new coat of paint on our sanctuary. The existing paint is over 20 years old. The new paint will refresh the sanctuary. It will give the sanctuary a new look. Matthew 10:42, “And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” As I sit on the other side of the world, handing bibles, gospel tracks, DVD’s of the Magdalena Film that presents the gospel to them. We are interacting with North African Muslims, Spanish, Spanish Gypsies, Refugees, Latins, Romanians and IMB Missionaries. So much diversity is here…
Month of Rest
This year, marks the third year we have taken a break in July from the regular routine at Emmanuel. For adults, there will not be any regular Wednesday night activities or Sunday night activities. However, Sunday mornings will remain the same and yet become so important. We will gather for our fellowship breakfast…we will meet in small groups to study God’s Word…then we will gather as a church family to worship God. This July break provides some rest for the…
VBS Was Good!
We had over 120 children enrolled with about 60 workers, helpers, leaders and teachers, which makes a total enrollment of 183! Thank you Robyn Antwine for being our VBS Director. Thank you to each worker, leader, helper and teacher, this could not be done without the help of each one. Thank you Emmanuel Baptist Church for your support of VBS.
