As I write this article I’m sitting in a hotel in Atlanta, GA. I’ve been at a training sponsored by the International Mission Board (IMB) to help train, equip and connect mission leaders with Project Leaders (Missionaries) from around the world. I have been asked to help lead a Go Students Team to Madrid again this summer. Over that past 2 days I not only was given great resources to help lead students this summer but I have been rubbing shoulders with missionaries from around the world. We’ve been listening to their stories of how God continues to work and reach people around the world for our Lord, Jesus.
With a new year began I’m wondering and praying about what God has in store for the people of Emmanuel. We have many people already that will be going around the world, the state and even across Weatherford to share the love of Christ. Our church can connect you with an extension of Emmanuel to serve in any of these areas. Stop by the Mission Corner on the top level of the Atrium to see where you can serve and share Jesus this year.
