I need a helper on Wednesdays. Because of a lack of workers, I help with the Children’s Afterschool
Program. I take children to the park and back. Some of our youth help me, which is great, but I need
another adult. Also, we could use a helper for Kerina with Story Time. In 1 Corinthians 3:9, Paul
writes
“We are laborers together with God.”
We each have a responsibility to serve God in some way. We partner with God and see things accomplished. For farmers, the farmer does the plowing and planting, and God sends the rain and sun. For surgeons, the surgeon does the cutting and sewing and God does the healing. For carpenters, the carpenter does the sawing and nailing, and God provides the trees. We do our part and God does His part. God continues to do His part with Wednesday nights. We continue to see decisions for Christ and families joining us for worship. Let’s do our part! There are a couple of opportunities to serve. Who will join Kerina and me? If you are serving somewhere on Wednesday nights, then thank you! It takes a lot of servants to accomplish Wednesdays and I appreciate all who serve and who have served to make it possible.
